Hello beer lovers and welcome to O’ Beerificio, the Neapolitan Brewery.

Let me first introduce myself.

Who am I?

My name is Giovanni, an IT Engineer from Naples.

I am in love with beer since I got the age to drink and with some friends we roamed around many pubs in Naples and surroundings, to try different beers, from different places and different colors.

After the university, I got the job that took me away from my hometown. I moved first in Rome, where I lived for 2 years, then Germany, England and in the end The Netherlands.

I started my brew hobby in 2012, while living in Rome. Since that moment, I got fully absorbed in it, I improved a lot my brewing knowledge with books and getting done many batches. Of course my brewing system improved as well along the way.

My brewery name also changed quite a lot. Actually didn’t give a real name though, but was getting name from the brewed batch and the funny name I came up for it: À Bionda Napulitan and À birretella are just 2 of the dozens of names I gave to my beers.

At some point, I understood I had to give a proper identity to my home brewery, something I could have make use of even for future projects.

O’ Beerificio, the Neapolitan Brewery

O’ Beerificio, the Neapolitan Brewery (in Neapolitan “The Brewery”) is born in 2024 as re-branding of the former NeaBrew, the Neapolitan Brewer because I was unable to make use of the word Nea, and to avoid any kind of issue, better to change the name before jumping in the breweries pro world.

Despite the re-branding, the name properly reflects my identity and the project I want to pursue.

I am very proud of my roots, that’s the reason why I choose to make it visible in the name of my brewery, and mostly because it says clearly about my projects too.

I would like to show and tell about my hometown through my beers: happiness, tastiness, freshness, lightness and creativity are the key characteristics of the beers I am designing to tell something about Naples.

And it is not only about beer. The labels will display panoramas, art, monuments and key topics of Naples.

Naples is not just food or folklorist people, Naples is something you need to experience, to live, to get the real essence
